In Lansing, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Michigan on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Lansing is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Lansing is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Not impressed! Came in on Saturday, June 20 (Anna our server and she was wonderful!), however food was very underwhelming, especially for the cost. For $9 their truffle fries were basically just browned potatoes wedges with a HINT of truffle oil & unmelted Parmesan cheese on top (yall couldnβt have even melted the cheese?), and they were served with: KETCHUP. Ketchup? Really? For $9 I expected way more, and didnβt even hesitate to send them back after one bite. We got the Hot Honey Burrata Pizza and we were also pretty disappointed (see photo). The pizza ($24) was suppose to be topped with basil, but each slice only got a SHAVING of basil leaf (see photo), the crust was burnt (granted itβs a wood fired pizza, but tell me why the crust was burnt but the cheese wasnβt even fully melted??). We sat outside on a 75Β° sunny day, the pizza arrived lukewarm and was cold within minutes. Also, upon returning to our table from the restroom I got to experience two servers arguing in the common area of the restaurant, the vibes were definitely off. I was not impressed and will not return. But hey, Anna was great!

For a $20 that is only enough to feed one person, I was expecting something akin to a neapolitan. But it was touch dough that was not very chewy. Good pizza dough should be light and chewy, with or without a crunch. Also, don't get their "trust us." Every time I saw it, the value of the ingredients has been less than the other options, and just felt like leftovers from whatever else they had that didn't fit the pizza.

We came here expecting great food and have been super excited to try this place out. However, we were extremely disappointed when we realized how terrible the food is. Iβm confused why our food was so bad, our pizza was sopping wet and the fries were literally empty (see photo). Small greasy soaked pizza, 6 slices for $24 dollars. Server was really great and the bar (zoobies) is very cool inside.

Stopped into The Cosmos on Saturday afternoon during a mini-roadtrip. This is a quick jaunt from the freeway that seemed to have good reviews and saw other reviewers posting a cool space mural that I was dying to gaze upon while dining. Unfortunately for me, even though the place was empty of diners, upon entering into The Cosmos staff directed us down a dark hallway (walking right past all the empty tables, pinball machines, and past aforementioned *gorgeous* space mural, down a dark hallway and into what I can only describe as a dilapidated dive bar apparently called"The Zoobies"). So easily getting a single star for atmosphere on that one. I feel like I got 'bait and switched' Dirty black stained hardwood floors, paint chipped off the yellow stained walls (I suspect the original color was white and that time has taken it), horrendously cracked vinyl booth seats with little to no survivable padding (Nothing like old cracked vinyl seats on the back of your legs while you're wearing shorts on an 85 degree day) Here's the thing: I had to give it four stars still, because the bartender at The Zoobies was an *excellent* waitress to us, and the food and drinks were delicious. My friend found out about this piece via an Instagram post on things to do in Lansing Michigan. The pizza looked eh in the video but I said, ok. Let's try it. Glad we did. The vibe, energy, and employees were all great. For the pizza we let the chef pick, just said vegetarian. It was definitely top notch! We both got salads and they were good. Also tried the fries in duck fat. We didn't notice anything special about the taste like we thought there would be being cooked in something unique. The popcorn reminded me of what I poop at home. I use salt, pepper, and garlic. They added truffle oil. It was tasty. Took the left over popcorn home (we had good amount of food) and ate it on the way back to Ohio. So there are at least 2 rooms and a large back patio. We sat in the room by the kitchen because the other room was pretty full and loud. This filled up to the longer we were there. There was a pinball game and some old video game in the center of the room. The TV was playing old MTV music videos. Big mural on the wall next to our table. The kitchen is open. Was fun watching the people in the kitchen working away doing their things as we waited for our food. Good company. Good food. G
